While you’re hunting for a Druddigon, there’s also the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge and a selection of exclusive field research tasks to complete. This event is the perfect time to add a powerful dragon-type to your team, so make sure you’re well stocked up on PokéBalls. On this page: Here are the Pokémon, arranged in National Pokédex order, for the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge:

Vulpix - In the wild and field research Seel - In the wild Dratini - In the wild and field research Dragonair - In the wild Mareep - In the wild Sneasel - In the wild and field research Trapinch - In the wild Vibrava - In the wild Blitzle - In the wild Darumaka - In the wild

If you’re struggling to find any of the above - looking at you, Dragonair and Vibrana - then remember to use Incense and Lures to increase event spawns and thus, their chances of appearing. Completing this challenge will reward you with 1,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust and a Druddigon encounter. These tasks, if saved in your field research collection, can be completed after the event ends, but we recommend completing them during the event, because some will reward you with Pokémon for the Collection Challenge. Make 3 Nice Curveball Throws in a row reward - Dratini encounter Win a raid reward - Deino encounter Win 3 raids reward - Druddigon encounter Win a raid in under 60 seconds reward - Sneasel encounter

Thank you to redwineandbeer from reddit for the help with this information! You may even find the shiny version of Druddigon! This event will also allow you to add the legendary Reshiram and Zekrom to your Pokédex if you haven’t done so already. Meanwhile, for one-star raids, you’ll be able to battle Deino, Golett, Cubchoo, Litwick and Tynamo. Finally, Mega Steelix - another new release - will still be available in Mega Raids throughout the event. Outside of raids, a variety of Pokémon will be appearing in the wild. These Pokémon are:

Vulpix Seel Dratini Dragonair Mareep Sneasel Trapinch Vibrava Blitzle Darumaka Deino

Keep an eye out for them, because some of these Pokémon are on the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge list. The Season of Mythical Wishes continues with the Winter Holiday event, which has brought Mega Glalie to Pokémon Go. Don’t forget to partake in the new Go Battle League season. Elsewhere, be sure to use Daily Adventure Incense for the chance of encountering Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos and Galarian Moltres.
As with previous Collection Challenges, you need to obtain a specific list of Pokémon through either catching them in the wild or using other methods, such as completing field research tasks or raids. After completing the Collection Challenge, it will be added to your Elite Collector medal and you’ll earn its rewards. Collection Challenges can be found in the ‘Today View’ screen, which is accessed by pressing the field research button - the little binoculars - in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. You may have to scroll to the left if you’ve been looking at the field or special research screens. Pokémon on the Collection Challenge list will be ticked off as you catch them, which will help you keep track of the ones you’re missing. Don’t forget - you only have until Sunday, 12th December at 8pm (local time) to complete the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge. Have fun hunting down a Druddigon!
