The Foundation sees Jesse heading to the very roots of the Oldest House to discover what happened to Marshall, the Head of Operations of the FBC, who disappeared during the main storyline of Control. Meanwhile AWE sees Jessie exploring the formally closer Investigations Sector and has a small connection to Remedy’s 2010 release, Alan Wake. On this page: Once you’ve done so the first mission in The Foundation DLC, called The Foundation, will automatically start. If you’re having trouble completing the main storyline, we recommend you check out our Control walkthrough and complete a number of the side missions, like Self-Reflection, to earn the Ability Points you’ll need to upgrade Jessie’s abilities. It’s time to journey into the mysterious Federal Bureau of Control. Our Control walkthrough can help you through the storyline missions, including Welcome to the Oldest House, Unknown Caller, Directorial Override, Old Boy’s Club, Threshold, My Brother’s Keeper, The Face of the Enemy, Finnish Tango, Polaris and Take Control. You can also learn new supernatural powers by completing A Merry Chase, A Good Defence and A Captive Audience. We also have guides on upgrading the Service Weapon, your Abilities, how to use Weapon and Personal Mods, how to unlock every outfit and the solution to the Roulette Wheel puzzle. After that, you’ll want to complete the seventh mission of the main Control storyline - The Face of the Enemy. We do recommend, however, that you complete the main storyline, a number of the side missions, such as Old Growth, and possibly even the Foundation DLC. This will give you both the mods and Ability Points that you’ll need to boost Jessie’s abilities, which will help you complete AWE. When you reach The Face of the Enemy or load your Control save file the first mission for AWE, A Dark Place, will automatically start and you’ll be able to access The Investigations Sector from the Executive Sector elevator. All you have to do is go to the PlayStation store, search for Control and then select Control Standard Edition from the list of the options. Once you’re on this page, scroll down until you find the dedicated section for the Control’s DLC. Now select the DLC that you wish to download and you’ll be taken to its specific page on the PlayStation store. After this all you have to do is select ‘Download’ and the DLC will become available on your game. Just remember - you need to purchase either the Season Pass, the specific DLC you wish to play or an edition of Control that includes the DLC to be able to download and play the Jessie’s DLC adventures!
