In Borderlands 3, Amara joins the ranks of the Siren class, alongside Lilith and Maya. Born in the slums of Partali, Amara learn how to channel her Siren energy into a set of powerful arms that she can now use to destroy her enemies. She’s a woman of action and her home is on the battlefield. On this page: Spending Skill Points in the Skill Trees will allow you to unlock a variety of Action Skill Effects. These will allow you to add an extra feature to your chosen Action Skill. You can have 1 Action Skill Effect equipped. The Skill Trees will also allow you to unlock Action Skill Elements. These will convert the type of damage that your Action Skill deals. When you first begin playing as Amara, the Action Skill Element Shockra will already be equipped. This will convert your Action Skill damage into Shock Damage. You can have 1 Action Skill Element equipped at a time. There is a special focus on Melee Damage, with abilities like Find Your Center, which will increase your Melee Damage. If you decide to reach the end of this Skill Tree, you’ll unlock Blitz. This will override your set Melee attack with a far more powerful version. Brawl will also help you stay alive for longer on the battlefield by allowing you to increase your Maximum Health through Abilities like Root to Rise and One with Nature. The focus on Melee Damage returns with the Action Skill. Phaseslam is a powerful move that will allow you to slam enemies, knocking them into the air. Throughout the Skill Tree you can unlock new version of this Action Skill, which deal Elemental Damage. There are also a number of Action Skill Effects that will allow to up the damage Phaseslam can bring to the battlefield. This includes Revelation, which always you to create a Nova when using Phaseslam on your enemies. Action skill for the Brawl Skill Tree - Phaseslam - leap into the air and slam into the ground

Brawl Skill Tree - Tier 1 Brawl Skill Tree - Tier 2 Brawl Skill Tree - Tier 3 Brawl Skill Tree - Tier 4 Brawl Skill Tree - Tier 5 Brawl Skill Tree - Tier 6 Many of the Abilities on this Skill Tree will allow to speed up actions like Reload Speed or Weapon Swap Speed, so that you can carry on shooting those bandits. Fast Hand(s) and Alacrity are perfect examples of these Abilities. Mystical Assault also allows you to start stacking Rush through the Violent Tapestry ability. Rush increases Amara’s Status Effect Chance and, as you unlock more of this Skill Tree, you’ll be able to add to this ability. Phasecast is the main Action Skill for Mystical Assault and allows you to send an Astral Projection of Amara out onto the battlefield. You’ll be able to unlock new versions of this Action Skill that will let you use the Astral Projection to deal more damage, Reverberation, and release Elemental Projectiles when it hits an enemy, Deliverance. You can also add Action Skill Effects to Phasecast. Soul Sap will let you transform some of the damage dealt by Phasecast into health, which is very useful in long boss battles. Mystical Assault Skill Tree - Tier 1 Mystical Assault Skill Tree - Tier 2 Mystical Assault Skill Tree - Tier 3 Mystical Assault Skill Tree - Tier 4 Mystical Assault Skill Tree - Tier 5 Mystical Assault Skill Tree - Tier 6 Tempest and Anima are both abilities that will allow you to increase the amount of Elemental Damage and Status Effects that you deal to your enemies. This will allow you to focus on more than just a singular foe, as, once hit by an Elemental Weapon, these added affects you kill your enemy for you. Sustainment is another important Abilities. It allows you to regain health from the Elemental Damage Amara deals, which is great if you specialise in Elemental Weapons. Phasegrasp allows you to deal damage to an enemy, while also holding them in place, which will let you fill them with bullets. As you travel down this Skill Tree, you can unlock new enhanced version of this Action Skill. Ties that Bind attacks the enemies surrounding your Phasegraps target, while Fist Over Matter brings another fist to the battle, which will smash its way through the fight. Action Skill for the Fist of the Elements Skill Tree - Phasegrasp - summon a giant fist that burst from the ground and locks the target in place for a few seconds

Two of Amara’s Action Skills are very reminiscent of the past Sirens. Phasegrasp, which allows you to grab hold of oncoming enemies, is very similar to Maya’s Phaselock, which suspends enemies in a vortex. Amara’s Phasecast Action Skill is a more violent version of Lilith’s Phasewalk. At a glance, it appears that Amara is just a combined version of the past Sirens, however, the Brawl Skill Tree offers to makes her incredibly deadly in close combat. Include the possibility to inflict a great amount of elemental damage upon your enemies and Amara is shaping up to be the strongest Siren Borderlands has seen yet.
